How it Works:

The network appliance is the only component that resides on-premise and is responsible for collecting and forwarding log, threat, and vulnerability data to Alert Logic datacentre for further processing.

The software-as-a-service component is hosted in our data centre and is responsible for analysing and securely archiving log, threat, and vulnerability data from all Alert Logic customer appliances across the globe. This component also supplies all real-time and historical trending and reporting via the customer web portal.



Threat Managers' expert system performs advanced correlation to virtually eliminate the false positives typically associated with intrusion detection technology. This multifactor correlation triangulates IDS alerts, firewall events, target vulnerabilities, global threat trends, and other factors to provide far more expansive and accurate threat identification, containment, and blocking.
